    Kerry’s 40-year real estate career started as an apprentice appraiser where he learned the analytical side of the real estate business. After selling a few houses, he sold a 400 acre ranch in the pristine Hollister Ranch on the Gaviota Coast. Kerry’s ranch buyer was so impressed with Kerry’s skills and knowledge he asked Kerry to represent him in purchasing three adjacent ranches totaling over 2000 acres. These were highly complex transactions with numerous title problems. Kerry found he enjoyed the challenges of researching all of the technicalities involved and decided to specialize in ranch, land and lifestyle properties. Kerry’s passion has been in selling large ranches ever since those early days. Over nearly 4 decades as an independent broker, Kerry has sold some of the largest properties in the tri-counties and has an impressive client base of major corporations such as Ticor Title Insurance, Wells Fargo Bank, Bank of Montecito, Bank of America, City Commerce Bank, Central Coast Production Credit, The Resolution Trust Corporation, Arco, Chevron, Texaco, numerous Hollywood celebrities such as Fess Parker and wealthy individuals seeking privacy and discerning lifestyle choice. Kerry is professional, discrete and dedicated to his clients. When making a decision to join a major real estate company, Kerry was offered many opportunities.     Following graduation from Cal Poly State University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Science, Brad Berch moved to Bend Oregon to work on a purebred cattle ranch. After experiencing a "chance in a life time" opportunity to live and work on an 18,000 acre ranch, Brad moved back to California and then Florida where Brad worked for a NASA contractor for the next 14 years. During this time as a NASA contractor, Brad earned his Master's Degree from Florida Tech (1992). With the “LAND” calling him, Brad left the space program and started his Real Estate Career in 1998. In 2000, Brad expanded his marketing focus on the needs of rural property buyers and sellers. With Brad's past experience living and working on ranch properties, along with owning a private vineyard of his own, Brad is well grounded with the needs and concerns of Country Property owners, buyers and sellers. Brad's latest move in 2015, was to join the new Ranch & Land Division that Kerry Mormann started at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices. The Ranch & Land Division Team will enable Country Property Buyers and Sellers to take advantage of our combined years of experience, our reputation and local knowledge. The marketing tools and horsepower provided to the team, as members of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, will enable us to market our properties locally, regionally and internationally.

    As a trusted part of the Kerry Mormann team, Jody works side-by-side with Kerry to deliver unsurpassed service and results for both sellers and buyers of land, ranches and lots in the region.

    Jody earned a bachelor of arts in Business Administration and Economics from CSU Fullerton in 1993. He worked for several years at a regional investment banking firm as a retail stock broker. He successfully helped raise funds for several companies through both private placement and public stock offerings.

    Following his entrepreneurial instincts, he went on to open, own and operate more than a dozen self-defense studios from Portland, Oregon to Houston, Texas. As the number one franchisee for over 20 years, his studios have made positive impacts on their communities. He has a 5th degree Black Belt in Kempo and holds the title of “Kyoshi”.

    In 2013, Jody established Alpha Project Americas, a tax-exempt charitable organization who's mission is to establish multiple, self-sustaining safe havens for at-risk youth in Latin America and the US. With current sports outreach programs in Costa Rica, Alpha has worked to uplift the youth impoverished communities. Alpha has also provided prosthetic limbs for the needy.
