Kerry’s 40+ year real estate career started as an apprentice appraiser where he learned the analytical side of the real estate business. After selling a few houses, he sold a 475-acre ranch in the Cuyama Valley. Kerry’s ranch buyer was so impressed with Kerry’s skills and knowledge he asked Kerry to represent him in purchasing three adjacent ranches totaling over 2000 acres. These were highly complex transactions with numerous title problems. Kerry found he enjoyed the challenges of researching all of the technicalities involved and decided to specialize in ranch, land, and lifestyle properties. Kerry’s passion has been in selling large ranches ever since those early days.
Over 4 decades as an independent broker, Kerry has sold some of the largest properties in the tri-counties and has an impressive client base of major corporations such as Ticor Title Insurance, Wells Fargo Bank, Bank of Montecito, Bank of America, City Commerce Bank, Central Coast Production Credit, The Resolution Trust Corporation, Arco, Chevron, Texaco, numerous Hollywood celebrities such as Fess Parker and wealthy individuals seeking privacy and discerning lifestyle choice. Mary’s background includes a rich understanding of civic affairs and entrepreneurial ventures. After years of running multiple businesses in the recreation and health and wellness industries, she drew from her background to become one of the Co-Founders of the Ranch & Lifestyle Division of Berkshire Hathaway Home Services. Mary is in tune with the needs of families and the importance of community. In 1993, Mary partnered with the Nevada AIDS Foundation to launch the Lake Tahoe AIDS walk in honor of her brother. In addition to her work building awareness for community health, Mary carries a passion for open spaces and land preservation. For 3 years Mary was honored to serve as the Vice President of the Tribal Trust Foundation. This organization supports Indigenous cultures around the world, helping to preserve their language and way of life. Inspired by her work with the First Nations communities in the United States, Mary also co-founded the non-profit organization, Sacred Ways.

Following graduation from Cal Poly State University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Science, Brad Berch moved to Bend Oregon to work on a purebred cattle ranch. After experiencing a "chance in a lifetime" opportunity to live and work on an 18,000-acre ranch, Brad moved back to California and then Florida where Brad worked for a NASA contractor for the next 14 years. During this time as a NASA contractor, Brad earned his Master's Degree from Florida Tech (1992).
With the “LAND” calling him, Brad left the space program and started his Real Estate Career in 1998. In 2000, Brad expanded his marketing focus on the needs of rural property buyers and sellers. With Brad's past experience living and working on ranch properties, along with owning a private vineyard of his own, Brad is well grounded with the needs and concerns of Country Property owners, buyers, and sellers. Brad's latest move in 2015, was to join the new Ranch & Land Division that Kerry Mormann started at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices.
The Ranch & Land Division Team will enable Country Property Buyers and Sellers to take advantage of our combined years of experience, our reputation, and local knowledge. Graham Goodfield

Graham is a native Californian, a 6th generation resident of Santa Barbara County. Steeped in the area’s community of ranchers, Graham carries regional expertise with first-hand experience within the inner workings of local farms, ranches, and recreational opportunities.
Growing up on his family’s avocado ranch in Carpinteria, he played football, basketball, and volleyball in the local school district. His early relationship with the regional environment was fostered throughout his childhood, spending summers sailing the Santa Barbara Channel and throughout the Channel Islands. This experience led him to Santa Cruz Island as a hunting guide prior to the Nature Conservancy’s take over in 1997.
At the age of 15, he worked on The Taylor Ranch in Ventura where he learned about ranch horses, pack mules, and driving wagon teams. After high school, he moved to Montana and attended the Royal Tine Hunting Guide and Horsemanship School in Philipsburg. From there, he started a job as a guide and packer in Challis, Idaho on the Main Salmon River, guiding horseback hunts and guided fishing trips. Graham went to Palomar College in North San Diego County to play football and obtained an athletic scholarship to go to Southeast Missouri State in Cape Girardeau Missouri, where he graduated with a B.A. in Outdoor Recreation Management.
Returning home after graduation, he worked and lived on Rancho Monte Alegre and guided pack trips in the area. Graham took over The Los Padres Wilderness Outfitters from his late mentor and friend Tony Alvis. Since then, he’s shortened the name to Los Padres Outfitters and expanded greatly with new stock and an ambitious operating plan. Graham is a devoted husband and father, who married his wife at the beautiful Santa Barbara Mission. They currently reside at Graham’s Carpinteria family ranch where he was raised.
