DOS PUEBLOS RANCH

QUEEN OF THE SANTA BARBARA COAST

DOS PUEBLOS RANCH

WHERE THE MOUNTAINS MEET THE SEA

Property Elements + Features

Dos Pueblos Ranch is made up of a number of small homes, old barns, a large mechanics shop, storage sheds, and the historic Casa Grande, a 4,000 s.f. home. Casa Grande, as it’s aptly called, is beautifully landscaped with a view down along an enormous stand of Morton Bay fig trees leading the eye down to the Pacific Ocean.

Historical Details

When Sam Mosher owned Dos Pueblos Ranch, the land churned its own butter, stored its own grain, butchered its own beef and was pretty self-sustaining. At Mosher’s many dinner parties all the food came directly off the ranch.

There is endless beauty in a land steeped with wonderful history. After hundreds of years, aside from the orchards, Dos Pueblos remains much the way it did when the Spanish explorer, Juan Cabrillo, first laid eyes on it in October of 1542.

California Coastline

With nearly a half-mile of coastline owned by Dos Pueblos Ranch, the privacy and beauty offer wonderful sunsets from the grass park. The beach area also has 200 amps of electricity and a water source making it a very useful area for personal campouts. A fresh water pond, filled with creek overflow is home to dozens of birds and bass.
